The Tree Illustrations

The eight woodcut illustrations for The Tree and The Nature of Nature were carved and printed from bay laurel and cherry blocks measuring 5.75 x 5.5 inches. Twelve artist proofs and twelve press proofs were printed on Waterford paper measuring 13.5 x 11 inches. The two-color label only appears on the portfolio-boxed edition of the book. The Illustrations are identified as Images A to H. Image A was printed from four blocks and the others from three blocks each. A few signed artist proofs remain available for sale.
