Woodcuts

The woodcuts begin with hand-carved blocks. Inking is also by hand with the help of a large roller, and the impression is pulled on my Vandercook proofing press. The paper makes a pass around the press cylinder for each color added. With all the handwork and repetitions the whole process is completed just once, ending with a signed and numbered edition.
